Data Processing on Our Website
General Information
Transmission of personal data to recipients/third parties and external service providers
We comply with all legal requirements. Data transmission to third parties occurs only within the scope of legal provisions.
External Agents
We contract third parties, external agents to perform services related to the operation of this website and our company (notably advertising agencies or transport service providers in implementing and handling contests and other advertising actions, software providers for email marketing).
Server Log Files
We collect data about each access to our website (also referred to as server log files) based on our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The data processed includes the IP address, collection time, request type, protocol, http status, referrer, browser type and version, operating system, and the report at the time of successful access.
The data will be used for statistical analysis for operational, security, and offer optimization purposes.
The data will be stored for up to 3 months for security reasons. The IP address will be stored exclusively anonymously.
If longer storage is necessary for evidentiary purposes, the data will be deleted after the issue is definitively resolved.
Cookies
Cookies are small files that allow specific device-related information to be stored on users’ access devices (computer, smartphones, etc.). They aim to make browsing the Internet easier and thus improve user experience (for example, storing login data). They also serve to collect website usage statistical data and allow analysis for improving the offer.
It is possible to influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to limit or completely prevent the storage of cookies. However, it should be noted that without cookies, usage, and especially usability, will be limited.
Integration of Third-Party Content and Services
We may use content and services from external providers to integrate their offers and services, such as videos, maps, etc. This is based on our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (for example, interest in analyzing, optimizing, and economically operating our online offer).
A prerequisite for this is that these contents detect the IP address, as without an IP address the content cannot be sent to the provider’s browser and, therefore, cannot be displayed.
We strive to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for content delivery. Third parties may also use “pixel tags” (invisible graphics, also called “web beacons”) for statistical or marketing purposes. Pixel tags can be used to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on our website pages. The information under a pseudonym may be stored in cookies on the user’s device and the operating system and may include, without limitation, technical information about the browser and operating system, referring web pages, visit time, and other information regarding the use of our online offer.
The following presentation provides an overview of external providers, as well as the respective contents, and links to the data protection declarations, which contain additional information about data processing and objection possibilities (so-called opt-out):
